Emergency & After Hours Clinics

At Cashua Veterinary Care, your pet’s health and safety are always our top priority. While we do not offer emergency or after-hours services, we want to ensure your pet gets the care they need, even when our office is closed.

Common Emergencies

If your pet is experiencing any of the following, we recommend seeking emergency veterinary care immediately:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Ingestion of toxic substances (e.g., chocolate, medications, household cleaners)
  • Severe vomiting or diarrhea
  • Bloated or distended abdomen
  • Seizures
  • Sudden collapse or inability to stand
  • Traumatic injuries (e.g., hit by a car, broken bones)
  • Difficulty urinating or defecating
  • Signs of extreme pain (whimpering, restlessness, aggression)
  • Heatstroke
  • Eye injuries or sudden blindness

If you are unsure whether your pet’s condition is an emergency, it’s best to err on the side of caution and contact an emergency veterinary clinic promptly.
